National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Financial Assistance Program

 

The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) Financial Assistance Program, in partnership with the Patient Advocate Foundation, is here to help reduce the barriers associated with ovarian cancer treatment and clinical trial participation by providing financial assistance for non-medical expenses.

The NOCC Financial Assistance Program includes two funds:

National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

Clinical Trial Fund

The NOCC Clinical Trial Fund provides each approved patient a one-time $2,500 payment to be applied towards the following non-medical costs related to enrollment and participation in clinical trials:

Transportation to and from clinical trial treatment/doctor (airfare, gas, rental cars, taxi fare, parking/tolls)

Hotel/lodging

Meals/food

Eligibility:

  • Must have a confirmed diagnosis of ovarian cancer, any stage, and must be accepted into a clinical trial for ovarian cancer treatment.
  • Must have a current annual household income at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). This varies from state to state and eligibility will be verified during the application process.
  • Must reside in the United States or US territories.
  • Must not have received a financial award from this fund in the past 12 months.

Treatment Fund

The NOCC Treatment Fund provides each approved patient a one-time $1,000 payment to be applied towards the following non-medical costs:

Eligibility:

  • Must have a confirmed diagnosis of ovarian cancer, any stage, and must be in active treatment or on maintenance therapy for ovarian cancer.
  • Must have a current annual household income at or below 400% of the FPL. This varies from state to state and eligibility will be verified during the application process
  • Must reside in the United States or US territories.
  • Must not have received a financial award from this fund in the past 12 months.
