The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) Financial Assistance Program, in partnership with the Patient Advocate Foundation, aims to ease the financial burdens associated with ovarian cancer treatment and participation in clinical trials by offering support for non-medical expenses.
The NOCC Financial Assistance Program offers two specific funds:
- National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Clinical Trial Fund
- National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Treatment Fund

National Ovarian Cancer Coalition
Clinical Trial Fund
The NOCC Clinical Trial Fund provides each approved patient with a one-time payment of $1,500. This payment is intended to cover non-medical costs associated with enrollment and participation in clinical trials. Eligible expenses include travel costs such as airfare, gas, rental cars, taxis, parking, and tolls. The fund also covers the cost of hotel accommodations and meals.
Eligibility:
- Must have a confirmed diagnosis of ovarian cancer (including fallopian tube and peritoneal cancers), any stage, and must be in active treatment or on maintenance therapy for ovarian cancer.
- Individuals in hospice care due to ovarian cancer are eligible.
- Must have a current annual household income at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). This varies from state to state, and eligibility will be verified during the application process.
- Must reside in the United States or US territories.
- Must not have received a financial award from this fund in the past 12 months.
National Ovarian Cancer Coalition
Treatment Fund
The NOCC Treatment Fund provides each approved patient with a one-time payment of $1,000. This payment is designated to help cover non-medical expenses related to treatment. Eligible costs include transportation to and from treatment or doctor appointments, rent or housing assistance, utilities and other bills, food and groceries, child or elder care, and house cleaning services.

- Must have a confirmed diagnosis of ovarian cancer (including fallopian tube and peritoneal cancers), any stage, and must be in active treatment or on maintenance therapy for ovarian cancer.
- Individuals in hospice care due to ovarian cancer are eligible.
